Italian-born but now London-based producer/musician/songwriter Soul Island released his first album single “Ocean” on October 5th, the single track is taken from his upcoming debut LP “Shards” (due to be released on December 7th via Loyal To Your Dreams).

“Ocean” is a shimmering synth pop track that handles intricate melodies, a vast atmosphere of ambient sounds and lush vocals. We’re glad to premiere the David Chambriard directed video for the single.

“It’s a track about true and false hope, spiritual and together very concrete. It’s a call to caring about the earth. I now realize I programmed the synth ARP as water movement with filter sweeps mimicking the tide, or that’s how I like to see it.”

Tomorrow Friday October 12th, Belgian label Eskimo Recordings releases the new single “Athena” from German nu-disco producer Satin Jackets.

“Athena” sees him collaborate with American born but Athens based artist Anduze and the driving rhythm along with the warm and breezy melody of the track matches the stunning and soulful vocals perfectly.

“Athens, Greece has always lured me in with her warmth, charm, and overall ancient beauty. After visiting each year for a decade, I was inspired to write about the city I now live in…Once I’d finished the lyrics, the musical landscape I thought would compliment it best was a vintage and melodic electro vibe. I’ve always loved Satin Jackets’ style and production, so I thought to reach out to Tim, and I feel so fortunate that we could collaborate. The result is just what I’d pictured it to be… Athena.”

Swedish duo Anwai (consists of childhood friends Amadeus Rudolfsson and Mons Lorenzen) has released 4 songs in the same amount of years and up until now racked up over 1.5 million streams worldwide. They’re now readying the release of their debut EP named “DREAMS” (via Swedish label Something Beautiful), the first taste of the EP is the track “Changing” that we here at Discobelle are proud to present to the world.

“Changing” is a track highlighted by the duo’s distinct trip pop sound, a well balanced combination of a more commercial sound with their own electronica based soundscape.

“After some time apart last November, we were sitting in a flat in Stockholm with a guitar and a bottle of wine and decided to write a song. that song came to be the first stone set in the wall for our new EP and also an important marker for us to realize the time is right to put all our energy into this project.” – Anwai

The original version of the track “Feel Me” (to be released tomorrow Friday September 21st via Belgian label Eskimo Recordings) from Paris based producer Simon Says is a sleazed up monster of a new wave/pop track (a cover of British synthpop band Blancmange and their 1982 album track), fellow French producer/dj Yuksek ups the the disco elements and the cosmic synth stabs to make it lift off into deep space.

On September 24th legendary German house DJ/producer Sharam Jey is set to release his highly anticipated third album, “Invisible” (via his very own Bunny Tiger imprint) which is comprised of 14 stellar sounding, melodic and synth-driven tracks boasting contributions from the likes of Little Boots, Dirty Vegas, KLP, Kat, Dacia Bridges and Ashibah.

We at Discobelle are extremely excited to premiere the track “Fridaycity” which features vocal offerings from British artist Little Boots, the track is the second single to be taken from the album and will be released on September 17th. On it, we get spaced out and sweeping synths, crashing pads, handclaps and hypnotizing vocals that combined makes this an all out dance jam.

Eduardo De La Calle’s single track “The Stand” (that also features the vocals of Joolz) was originally released via Take Away in 2017 but now the track receives a remix treatment from UNER, Marvin & Guy, KMLN, Soulfeed and ORBE.

We here at Discobelle can offer our readers the premiere of the remix from Spanish producer/dj UNER who has stayed true to the original’s stripped back groove, but lifts the mood with his own melody and addictive percussion.

Vienna based outfit At Pavillon just announced a remix package for their latest single entitled “Lions”, the track is taken from the upcoming EP, “Lions Remixes” that contains interpretations by artists/producers such as IS TROPICAL, MYNTH, CIO and EHYT which is set for release on September 7th via Austrian label LasVegas Records.

Discobelle are excited to premiere the remix from London based electronic/rock quartet Is Tropical, after their hit single “The Greeks” back in 2011 they were quickly signed to French music/fashion label Kitsuné, with whom they have released most of their music.

Their remix is filled to the brink with buzzing and intoxicating synth work, a crunchy sounding bass and a steady beat which is guaranteed to make you move.
