We’re pumped to be premiering pop singer-songwriter Bryan Stave‘s debut single, “Chasing Platinum.” Set for release tomorrow, “Chasing Platinum” is the first single and title track from the Nashville-based musician’s forthcoming EP, rumored to be dropping in Spring 2018. Mixed and mastered by Grammy-nominated producer Christian Davis, Stave’s first single is a bright pop tune that showcases both his natural gift in singing and a deft touch with songwriting. “Chasing Platinum” came about through an intricate process that involved his development and maturation as both an artist and fan of multiple genres. He says “though I fall under the pop “umbrella”, I’ve got songs (especially when still in acoustic form) that would fall into all different genres so when I get up and do reggae-rap or surf tune it’s usually a significant change of pace which is always fun.” Although he is just embarking on his new artistic venture, the future is looking bright.

Creative collective Vibbar are making their debut release via MistaJam’s Speakerbox label with their new single “Sweden” and we here at Discobelle can present the smasher of a remix from London producer Sammy Porter.

The track is formed an around amalgamation of sounds, influences and voices with catchy bars that meets a melodic instrumental and a boosted bass.

“Vibbar is something everyone can experience, Vibbar is inclusive, Vibbar is far from exclusive – it’s not a situation where we’re trying to seclude anyone or not have anyone a part of it. It remains a collective of individuals that are friends, who are creatives and express themselves through different creative mediums such as art, music, production, videography and we do it together under one umbrella.”

Peep the video for the original version of “Sweden” below.

Discobelle premiere in the house!

From our friends in grooved out/funked up/disco outfit FSQ we received this alternate and extended DJ dub version of their remix for Los Angeles producer B Bravo. The original version of the remix appears on B Bravo’s “Paradise Remixed” album (also on the “Paradise Remixed” compilation are remixes from XL Middleton, Simbad, Pillowtalk, Captain Planet, Teeko, Jaël and Grandfeather) which was recently released via the Bastard Jazz label.

The original version of the track is a super smooth affair but the FSQ crew put in a very different “Caribbean Disco” sounding remix of the track with member GKoop spearheading the production of the remix. GKoop has been busy this year as the co-writer of platinum-selling hip-hop hits like “It’s a Vibe” by 2 Chainz and “Bad and Boujee” by Migos. Fortunately, he took time out of his hectic schedule for FSQ and brought in drummer Marquisse Moore and pianist Graham Richards to give the remix a strong dose of Borinquen flavor and highlights the percussion we peppered the mix with: woodblocks, congas, bongos, and clappers in order to make everyone dance.

Let the beat play on and enjoy this special exclusive FSQ “Caribbean Disco Dub” of B Bravo’s “Freak It”!

Audio Dope is a Swiss artist signed to Majestic Casual and Radicalis and he has been compared to acts such as Mura Masa and Caribou.

We here at Discobelle can premiere the first single “Floating” taken off his self-titled debut album, the track is crisp like a sun-filled winter’s day and features an acoustic foundation that shifts to spliced vocal fragments, weaving drums and beautifully layered synths for a breathtaking piece of electronica.

Smooth, sensual, and intrinsically emotional, Provocado‘s “Only You” has the makings of late night lovers jam. The visual for “Only You,” out today and premiered here via Discobelle, portrays the underlined communiqué of the song’s title via homing in on a day-in-the-life of one beautiful metropolitan woman walking the streets of Manhattan. New York-based musicians Derek Chilvers and Eric Essebag have done a magical job of capturing the essence of the city that never sleeps, injecting heaps of New York soul and flair into their newest single. Ethan Parker is only just beginning to make his mark on the music scene and we are very happy to be able to share his latest work, “Feel Something.” With 1 prior release under his belt, it is a magical experience to watch his sound evolve.

“Feel Something” is upbeat, disco infused hit that effortlessly couples with Parker’s melodic vocals.

“I wanted to try something different with this song. Something that moved people, literally. I hear so many dance records that I enjoy with great melodies and cool lyrics, but they can be very surface level at times. My goal was to incorporate my own perspective into something with dance vibes. “Feel Something” is a song about purpose. People need to know what they’re living for and why they’re living. It’s so easy to be swayed by the latest trend or by what everyone else is living for, but once you find that purpose and the reason for why you live you start to feel passion. That’s the something I want people to feel.” – Ethan Parker

French electronic artist/producer Dim Sum is gearing up to release his brand new single track “Just Need”, which is the final taste before his upcoming new EP “Stay” is due out tomorrow Friday Oct 27th. The previous EP single track “Stay” was released just last month and has seen massive success, hitting #1 on Hype Machine and being listed on Spotify’s New Music Friday France.

Dim Sum describes the release: “I made this EP with the idea of making music that you can both dance and think to. Music that you can share with the people you live with, and those that you miss. Move to the beats or get lost to the melodies, depending on how you’re feeling it. I hope it can be felt when listening.”

“Just Need” boasts a bounced up electropop groove, soothing vocals and a super catchy synthline making it immediately hook into your brain and not letting go.

Stockholm based producer Mountain Bird creates a wonderful world of indie-electronica with an 80’s inspired analogue synth sound. His remix for fellow Stockholm artist Amanda Mair and her recently released single “Rush/Wednesday” is the first recorded collaboration between the two and the remix itself is 3 minutes of fantastic and dramatic sounding dance pop.

”I heard the magical vocal track and the feeling hit me. Produced a remix of Rush. Had some coffee. Cried a bit. Laughed. And then I sent the bounce to you.”

– “This is what Mountain Bird answered when I asked him about the remix. And my first reaction of the remix was, ‘wow first time I see myself as Beyoncé in a music video dancing in a sweaty desert.’ And I couldn’t resist myself for loving that thought (and the remix of course).” – Amanda Mair

Amanda Mair will release a new EP entitled “To The Moon” in November and stay tuned for more.
