Shir Khan always brings all things deep and funky when it comes to his extraordinary imprint, Exploited. The Sercret Gold series has given us some of the best underground tracks from the likes of Piemont, Huxley and Claptone, the sixth and latest installment is no different.

Secret Gold 6 starts out with my personal favorite, “Give It To Me” by PJU which features Josh Caffe & Robert Owens on the vocals. A soulful yet modern house track, it’s heavy on the horns and synths while hyper-sexed vocal cuts take the track to new heights. The rest of the EP is solid until the very end, Belgium’s very own Antilope’s dreamy concoction “Body Trouble” comes in next and is smooth mixture of deep house and dream pop. Finishing it off Kevin McKay (from Glasgow Underground) gives us a tribal tech house jam with “Everythings A Dream”, and newcomer Will Clarke’s wobbly “Gunna Give U” is a floor focused stomper.

You can purchase Secret Gold 6 now on Beatport, so what are you waiting for?! Go on and get down!

Punks Jump Up comes back with a new track “Feels Good” that confirms how versatile the duo can be. The two first stepped into disco pop territory with the collaboration with Chromeo on “Mr Overtime.” This time the two have teamed up with Dubka and enlisted vocal support from Saint Saviour. “Feels Good” captures the “melodies of ABBA, the bass lines of Giorgio Moroder, and the dance floor drive of Soulwax.” We’re excited to premiere the Moonlight Matters dub version of the track today. The entire EP is out on French label and music tastemakers Kitsuné November 12th.

I’ve been radio silent but thankfully there’s a new Oliver track that’s pulled me out of the abyss. The LA duo puts some heavy synths over Punks Jump Up‘s single “Mr Overtime” that features Dave 1 of Chromeo fame’s vocals. The remix is just one of three on Punks Jump Up’s EP, the other two by Gigamesh and Mickey. Grab the disco infused single + remixes on April 30th via MODA music.

New Zealand native Ladyhawke debuts the video for “Black, White & Blue,” the first single off her highly anticipated sophomore album Anxiety. The video is shot through a retro tinged lense and in it we see Ladyhawke stepping out of her signature punk grunge look into a more glammed up ensemble. In the video, Ladyhawke plays the role of a photographer at a high-end fashion shoot.

“Black, White and Blue” is set to be released February 20th with a slew of remixes from The Big Pink, Nile Delta, and Punks Jump Up. Take a listen to the Punks Jump Up remix below and go ahead and put in your pre-order for the new album.
