Swedish duo No Science consists of Jukka Rintamäki (of Silverbullit fame) and Johan Skugge (both acclaimed musicians in their own, they met when whilst writing the music for the video game Battlefield 3) and they’re now gearing up for their debut album release “Lucky Resident” which will drop on BLVVD in March 2015. The duo cites inspiration from both film and art with influences such as Lars Von Triers Riget, David Lynch and illustrator Joakim Pirinen etc.

Tomorrow (February 11th) the first single “Bits” hits the shelves and it’s accompanied by this remix from Swedish artist Jay-Jay Johanson that we’re able to exclusively premiere here on Discobelle. The remix is a magical and dreamlike electronic pop composition that balances along darker territory.

Thanks to Sportsman for providing us with this wonderful selection of tracks done for Radar Magazine.

“I’m just going away to Tanzania for vaycay and inspiration, so I wanted to make a mixtape for the trip. Sportsman was kind of born in Kenya, so it will be amazing to go back to where it all began. It’s a weird mix of music really – everything from Italian film composer Ennio Morricone via my dear friend HNNY to Taylor Swift – but it’s in that way I find myself listening to music these days. Anything that feels pure.”
