The good people over at Malibu released this new app for the iPhone just before Christmas, the app features exclusive music from the likes of Major Lazer, Riva Starr, Douster, Mowgli, Mastiksoul, Savage Skulls, Style of Eye and Johan Hugo from Radioclit/The Very Best etc. The app is called Malibu Music Mixer and it lets you mix the music in sync only using the iPhone including EQs, a drumpad and effects. Marina Gasolina – former founder and frontfigure of Brazilian baile funk outfit Bonde Do Role is releasing her debut single “Leone” (produced by Etienne Tron of Radioclit and Berlin producer Electronicat) on her own label Anfetamina Records November 29th. The single sees her explore a more experimental electronic sound, the track is filled with a galloping drumbeat and A Clockwork Orange esque synths and is a homage to master of spaghetti westerns – Sergio Leone.
