Based in Berlin/New York, the label has been turning out bass house anthems by acts such as Hostage, AC Slater, Rob Threezy, DJ Donna Summer, Rampage, Jubilee and Proper Villains accompanied by remixes by many of the most innovate international club acts like Jokers Of The Scene, Momma’s Boy, C.R.S.T., Luna-C, Bok Bok and a host of others. Infused with House and channeling the power of Rave with an underpinning of Bass; this 16 track collection of kick ass features some of our favorite tracks we’ve had the pleasure to release!

This compilation is a mix of our label acts as well as a few of our favorite remixes. Some of our biggest charting tracks like Udachi & Jubilee’s “Paypur” and the Jokers Of The Scene remix of Rob Threezy appear alongside tracks that somehow fell through the cracks like AC Slater’s “Night Shift” and Proper Villains’ “Rave Juice”. The comp starts with one of our favorite tracks -Rampage’s “Big Breath” – a B’more / House jam that gets stuck in your head with a heavy vibe like no other. Also of note is the Nick Catchdubs Remix of “Paypur” feat. The Kid Daytona that’s just as home on dance floors as well as primetime hip-hop radio. We round the comp out with a track that really goes for blood, Hostage’s Drum and Bass remix of label founder DJ Donna Summer’s “Raw”! A huge collection of party tracks, “Nightshifters: Selections One” is packed with only our best tunes over the past 2 years. Play ‘em loud and proud!”

Scottish producer Hostage just dropped one thunderous EP with “Valhalla” (released by Nightshifters that goes from strength to strength with their releases). Hostage keeps the single going with bass and adds some sprinkles of rave to keep the dancefloor in check, remix duties comes from Chicago house legend Angel Alanis, Chicago b-more hero Rampage then Chrissy Murderbot adds some juke flavour and Mommas Boy finishes the package off with some Dutch house/Euro rave goodness.

We’ve been mad sleeping on this (Sorry Jason and Jess) but finally i managed to sit down for a post about this new Rampage release on the consistently awesome Nightshifters label.

Rampage is part of the Ghetto Division crew in Chicago along with Rob Threezy, Charlie Glitch and MaddJazz and his new EP “War” is the latest release on NYC/Berlin based Nightshifters. The track that we got for you today – “Loving You Is Easy” – is on that blasting housed up b-more style that Rampage has become noted for.

Our friends from the newly started Nightshifters label – “who is built around a core group of musicians making prime-time oriented banging club tracks to get people raving”! – just brought some heat to our inbox in the form of two havoc creating housed up b-more tracks from Chicago dj/producer Rampage. Both of these tracks are from the “back catalog” that Nightshifters will be unleashing to all digital retailers on October 20th.
