SAINTS – Blind, I

Sep 30 2017

Who is SAINTS? This is my first time hearing of the electro R&B alias, and instantly I am intrigued. After a debut single with KRANE, the follow up “Blind, I,” out on Lowly Palace’s urban imprint Lowly, ties together dissonant chords and percussion to create a soft and luscious R&B bed for the unnamed vocalists enigmatic and soul infused lyrics to lay upon.

ABRA – NOVACANE

Sep 29 2017

Her one-of-a-kind voice and innovative, unparalleled style of production make Atlanta singer-songwriter ABRA a force to be reckoned with. “NOVACANE,” her latest, showcases her expertise in making beats while allowing them to breathe as her pitched down vocals gently intertwine.

WOOOOAH mindblown. We just featured a new track from TastyTreat last week, and since then they’ve returned with yet another incredibly produced, and incredibly different piece of sonic art, “Summer (Don’t Go).” An indie dance vintage vibe dripping in lighthearted soulful lyrics reminiscing on Summer’s inevitable kiss goodbye. I am a huge fan.

“Summer (Don’t Go)” comes as the fourth release on Lowly Palace’s urban imprint: Lowly.

VALENTINE & Rob Araujo take an already perfect alternative r&b song, Lana Del Rey & The Weeknd’s “Lust For Life,” and morph it into something dreamy and electronic. The synth driven production adds a high level of danceability to the iconic collaboration and I hope to see this on an official remix package in the future!

Moglebaum breaks their 1 year hiatus, with this fresh, soulful & vibey masterpiece, “Echo of Time.” If you haven’t heard, Moglebaum is a 5 person project- vocals, synths, drums, saxophone, samples- who made waves with their future-bass-funk single, “Raindrops.” We’re hoping this implies there will be tons more new music on the way shortly. Until then…. enjoy “Echo of Time.”

Ocean County based producer DEVAULT returns with a top notch production featuring the vocals of songstress Ayelle. The way her sultry vocals wrap about the rhythmic bass production is encapsulating and addicting. I’ve had this one on repeat all day!

“What To Say” is the more-energetic follow up to Lui’s superbly chill tune “Nocturnal”. Lui’s soulful vocals and immaculate synth driven production intertwine to with a catchy and infectious vocal chop. I’ve had this on repeat all day!

This track will be available for your streaming pleasure at midnight, click here.

London based artists Ayelle and Calper have linked up yet again to release the lead single off their Feels EP “Without Me,” which comes out August 4th. The two have covered Kanye West’s “Real Friends,” DJ Snake’s “Middle” and Skrillex and Diplo’s “Mind,” accumulating thousands of plays, and the co-sign from the Bipolar Sunshine. I cannot get enough of the chill, rhythmic vibes in this record driving Ayelle’s sultry vocals.
