New single “Love Lockdown” by Kanye West just hit the internet and remixes are already streaming in like crazy. We recieved these two last night from two Discobelle faves and previous Mixin’ It Up contributors, Chi-town dj Matt Roan and Canadian producer/dj Hatchmatik. They both bring the track to the club, albeit in different ways.

Our neighbours in Norway have been reigning the balearic disco scene for a few years now, almost to the point where you’d expect nothing else coming out of the fair country. Dubby disco edit master Rune Lindbaek might not be the most famous of the bunch, although he’s worked with pretty much everyone in the scene, but he sure packs a mean punch with this remix which sees that excellent The Knife track “Heartbeats” catapulted into a dancefloor stormer. The way Rune works in some more of those steel drums, a sweet shuffling bassline and simple yet effective handclaps makes our hearts beat a little faster and breathes new life into this, in mp3-blog time, ancient track.

Rune is currently working on an album called “Desire Lines” with the Idjut Boys which will be released on Smalltown Supersound sometime in october/november. The first 12″ from the album will drop shortly.

Jason Forrest AKA DJ Donna Summer and Birthday Party Berlin/Cock Rock Disco affiliate hit us up and told us about the latest release from Otto von Schirach. Here’s some more info about Otto’s new EP:

Eli Escobar and DJ AM just made a remix of the second single “Troublemaker” which is taken off Weezer’s new album “Weezer - The Red Album”. The tastemakers at the label turned it down but it gets a new home here at Discobelle. Guess we don’t agree with Geffen. But then again we are more fans of Eli then of Weezer. Enjoy!

We are big fans of Evil Nine here at Discobelle and when we got the remixes that they got lined up for their new 12″ we were impressed. On the 12″ you will find a DJ version of the track “All The Cash” and remixes from Alex Metric and Glitch Mob. You got to get this when it drops.

But we got the remix that didn’t end up on the 12″, from Mumdance and with Jammer on the microphone. This is good shit!

Empire Of The Sun is a collaboration between Nick Littlemore of blog faves PNAU and Luke Steele of The Sleepy Jackson. “Walking On A Dream” is the first single from the upcoming album release. You might have come across the housey Sam La More remix that’s been making the blog rounds lately but we have the previously unblogged remix done by Melbourne electro outfit Hong Kong Blondes.

Oh yeah! Killer Klever is back with a bang with this fast paced remix of fellow Atlanta rapper Big Gipp (y’all might remember him from a little outfit named Goodie Mob). This is, just as the Sinden remix we posted the other day, a Scion A/V project and the meeting between that dancier electro sound and hip hop works really well. We’re glad to see Klever gaining some love.

New remixes of MSTRKRFT tracks keeps on popping up. Apparently this is an official one, courtesy of fellow T-Dot production duo Mansion. Housey piano stabs along with some swirling bleeps and a steady beat makes this less in your face than the original, we quite enjoyed this.
