Young Colombia born but now Madrid based producer Marco Uson has been heard via labels such as Iboga Records and Resopal Schallware and has been supported by heavy hitters such as like Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola, Joseph Capriati and Paco Osuna etc.

On Friday, December 6th he’s going to release his debut single track release “Into The Depth Of Your Soul” on well known German label Traum Schallplatten as part of their “Tour De Traum XVIII” compilation (a label whose artists have been a source of inspiration for Marco) and it’s also his debut release under his new alias Aurelius Zon that will focus on a more melodic techno/electronica sound.

We feel very blessed to be able to exclusively premiere the amazing “Into The Depth Of Your Soul” right here on Discobelle, be prepared for an exquisite piece of hypnotic sounding and atmospheric techno with hints of tribal elements along with superbly smooth, soulful vocals.

Swedish festival Into The Valley has already been named one of the top festivals in the world and it hasn’t even taken place yet, it’s a two day celebration of electronic music where Dalhalla – a former limestone quarry and one of the most unique venues in Sweden – is rebuilt to an open air club. The festival takes place from July 31st to August 2nd in Dalhalla, outside of Rättvik which is located about 280 kilometres from Stockholm and tickets are available here. Artists performing includes Four Tet, Mount Kimbie, Nicolas Jaar, Ricardo Villalobos, John Talabot, Richie Hawtin, Carl Craig, Âme,
Axel Boman, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Nina Kraviz, Ida Engberg, Benoit & Sergio, Genius Of Time, Dixon, Kim Ann Foxman, Baba Stiltz, Kornel Kovacs etc.

Into The Valley takes the pulse of the city to the heart of the forest. By being an extension of previous projects the club feeling is intact, though the context is different. An urban club environment is recreated, and maximized while sound, machinery and lineup aligns with Dalhalla’s majestic backdrop of trees, water and sky. The limestone quarry transforms into a stew of deep electronics and artificially created light warped far from its original destination. Into The Valley is a dream come true for everyone involved, and expectations are high.

We here at Discobelle have teamed up with the organizers Segren Hedlund and will present exclusive mixes from some of the performing artists in the weeks leading up to the festival, first out we have an amazing mix from Stockholm dj/producer Jessie Granqvist who gives us 58 minutes of dark and brooding techno, perfect to listen to in the summer heat.

This week we’ve got Berlin’s very own Chambray on mix duty, and to say I’m excited is a bit of an understatement. I first heard Chambray’s “Yuu EP” earlier this year and was immediately hooked with the heavy pounding techno bassline, it made perfect sense for him to be the first exclusively signed artist on Jimmy Edgar’s imprint Ultramajic. His “Rub EP” features monster tracks such as “Ghetto Giants” and “Ease” which have been championed by the likes of Aden and Richie Hawtin. One of the most exciting up-and-coming producers out there today, you’re in for a real musical treat.

“This mix reflects exactly the kind of music that I love as well as showcases inspirational tracks that have helped me develop my own sound. This selection of music includes my current originals, remixes, and some of my all time favorites that I could listen to on repeat for hours. I strive to balance groovy rhythms with stomping percussion throughout the entirety of this set. Having a good mix of both of these elements is very important to me as a musician as well as for my own personal taste. Enjoy!”

Hold You Tight

Jan 21 2011

Seclusive Berlin producer Daniel Steinberg is about to unleash his debut album “Shut Up” late January on Front Room Recordings (sublabel to Made To Play, both run by Jesse Rose) but he’s no newcomer seeing as he’s spent the last 15 years honing his trade and is well regarded amongst the likes of Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano, Richie Hawtin and Claude Von Stroke. On the track “Hold Tight” we get a 6 minute microcosmos of the productions offered on his debut album: warm, soulful and with a tropical feel that will have you strutting around on the dancefloor in mere seconds.
