Secousse (Etan remix)

The Radioclit “Secousse 2″ remix EP was just released on Mental Groove Records, it’s a mighty package that features the All Stars Vocal version + dub and remixes from juke legend Gant-Man, French wonder Brodinski, Italian/British master Riva Starr, the Swiss heroes Wildlife and Round Table Knights + Mad Decents very own Paul Devro! To celebrate the release, they’re giving away some unreleased mixes of the track. First out is this bleepy yet still with that tropical flavour version by Etan (AKA Shuttle, Ninja Tune)

A last minute banger for tonight! Riva Starr sends us a happy new years greeting with this remix of KRS 1 track “Sound Of The Police”. As always with Riva it’s a top notch production and a destroyer of dancefloors.

Solo

Solo is an Italian house producer currently residing in London where he shares a studio with Discobelle faves Mowgli and Riva Starr. You might know him from his recent Cornershop remix which quickly became a favorite on the blogs. This funky track (or as Solo puts it “a dj tool that works well on the dancefloor) “Midgets in Brick Lane” is off his new EP “We Are The Midgets” which was just released on Deadfish (the label he runs together with Mowgli), it’s a track which draws a heavy influence from the world music scene in this case Bollywood.

Riva Starr vs. Laidback Luke

Riva Starr just made the Top 20 players 2008 list in IDJ Magazine. To celebrate, here’s his reworking of the track “Generation Noize” from Dutch house guru Laidback Luke. Riva goes funky on this one and it’s perfect for warming up to a night of dancing.

Riva Starr just did a podcast/mix for the Berlinbased label Made To Play (run by Jesse Rose). It was done to promote the launch of his new 12″ which will be released by Made To Play in mid October.
