NYC producer/dj Robert Lux has previously been featured here on Discobelle with his housey anthems, this time we get a smashing Valentine’s mixtape.

“Featuring some exclusive unreleased tracks from my vault as well as a host of funky love-inducing cuts from my heroes. I made this mix as a valentines gift to my homies who are doing some dope work with an organization out here in NYC called Building Beats(@buildingbeats). Discovered this tune on Brooklyn based producer, Robert Lux’s soundcloud after I premiered his stellar cover of “Move Out”, originally by Yazoo. Check that out here.

Mr. Lux will be performing at a very exclusive Super Bowl party in the coming weeks, and, if you live in the area, you should totally try to go! And download this great tune from him to jam on your iPod while waiting in line at the party.

Robert Lux, the Brooklynite producer, songwriter and performer tapped us lucky folks at Discobelle to premiere this sparkling new cover version of the classic Yazoo tune. As one of my absolute favorite jams of all time (the Joey Negro version is a staple in my sets), “Move Out” gets a super modern update with a slinkier tempo, fresh vocals from Pegasus Warning and a collection of ripping synths that are sure to move the feet on any dance-floor.
