Allez-Allez – Discobelle Mix June 2010

Allez-Allez is a British duo consisting of Sam Willis and Steve Nolan who have been playing kraut/techno/electro/disco for dancefloors all over the world. They are about to release their second original release, the EP “Hideous Racket” on fine NYC label RVNG Intl next week (June 29th to be exact), it features four tracks of dirty disco/house that is bound to tear apart just about any party. The EP will be available in limited edition red vinyl (550 copies) and will also be available at the regular digital outlets. To celebrate this joyous occasion the Allez-Allez boys have provided us in Discobelle with an exclusive and eclectic mix which you should put on immediate repeat in the listening equipment of your choice.

Pink Skull – Endless Bummer + Mink Challenges

Philadelphia duo Pink Skull are long time pals of us here at Discobelle. They’re just released their dancey new album “Endless Bummer” is out on top notch NYC label RVNG. The guys did an exclusive mix for us to promote the album, the “Mink Challenges “mix is in fact a pretty insane amalgamation of their influences – both new and old.

Jackpot

Jackpot is a trio from Stockholm and with the release of their italodisco/early house infused “Ragazza” EP (on Service/Permanent Vacation) they quickly garnered quite a buzz. They are the latest ones to release an EP for the Rvng of the Nrds 12″ series on NYC label RVNG. The track “Brief Encounter” that we got for you is a funky disco gem with a dancey string arrangement and handclaps aplenty all while a buzzing rhytm keeps you locked to the dancefloor.

In Flagranti

In Flagranti just did a mix for Fact Magazine and we’re feeling it.

“Sasha Crnobrnja and Alex Gloor to their mates and mums, the pair made a name for themselves with their forward-thinking Italo and electro confections on their own Codek label as well as Eskimo and Kitsune, and have remixed the likes of WhoMadeWho and Diskokaine. You can usually spot an In Flagranti record from the mucky titles (‘Sexx Piss Tool’ is our fav) and dirty cover art, which just makes us like them more.

Their FACT mix is a right old stomper basically, and features edits of Killing Joke, The Breeders and The Glitter Band, as well as original material from YACHT, Fancy Beat and more.”

BONUS: A track taken from their recent RVNG EP, “RVNG Of The NRDS Vol. 8″.
