Brabo is a new project from DJ Gorky who is a member of Mad Decent’s Brazilian funk/electro dance pop group, Bonde De Role.

The original version of single track “Work Me Out,” (premiered on Consequence of Sound) is taken from acclaimed Gold Coast producer Paces and his recently released “Vacation” album (came out courtesy of etc etc). The funked up and warm club pop groove of this beautiful sounding remix plays off the rapping from Baltimore club artist/Mad Decent fam member Rye Rye in order take the track straight to your brain and make it stick.

Cakes Da Killa announces a special deluxe edition of his popular “Hunger Pangs” EP, featuring none other than Jersey Club Kween UNiiQU3. In addition to this release, Cakes will also be touring with the rising producer/vocalist/dj for a month long “Too Lit To Quit” tour. The remix and tour comes at a time when Jersey Club is at its height. Just last month THUMP released a three part YouTube series documenting the culture and movement behind Jersey Club music. Be sure to check out UNiiQU3’s take on “Get 2 Werk” featuring rapper Rye Rye below!

The Count & Sinden’s
“Mega Mega Mega” had something going for it other than its catchy repetition heavy title, touting a relentlessly powerful batch of collaborations working with an unusual lineup spanning from Katy B to Rye Rye to The Mystery Jets.

Now that a “Mega Mega Mega” remix album has been announced for August 1st, it’s as good a time as any to revisit the album, as well as preview a few of the contributions from the remix album, including some frothy treats from XXXY, Canblaster, Hot City and more wrapped nicely into a 40 minute mix by Sinden.

Too bad the mix doesn’t have any contributions from Coolio Iglesias, whose name everyone else in the universe probably wishes they’d thought of first.
