Our friends in The Glass just did a brief European stint, they also just released the second single “Superhero” taken from their upcoming new album. L.A producer Bit Thief is the latest addition to the Plant Music roster and he transforms the pop leaning dancefloor track into a techhousey tune with a thumping beat and then laces it with a saxophone and some 8-bit sounds.

Other remixes of the single comes courtesy of ESL Recording’s Ursula 1000, UK’s Luke Solomon, Brasil’s Komka and London’s Sam Roqwell & I Sancho.

Our friends in Berlin/NYC duo The Glass have a few select shows coming up here in Europe and they gave us the fantastic dub edit from hard hitting DC duo Nadastrom of their latest single “Wanna Be Dancin’” (which you shouldn’t have missed) to promote their shenanigans over here. Also, they have a new single coming out on October 20th (on Beatport & 12″) and then dropping on iTunes (October 30th). The single is called “Superhero” and comes backed with remixes from Luke Solomon, Ursula 1000, Sam Roqwell & I Sancho , newcomer Bit Thief (amazing mix) & Brazil’s Komka.

Everywhere you read about XO Man it mentions that he is 6′10″ so I thought I start this post out with that so we got that out of the way. He is now signed to Arthur Baker’s label and his next single after his YouTube hit with “Microwave/Ladydog” will be “Really Mind”. I haven’t heard the original track just yet but the Sam Roqwell & I Sancho remix is on fire.

Sam Young is starting up a new label called Nod Factor and here is one of the first tracks that will come out from the label.

The label is also looking for new talent and tracks to put out. So holla at him if you got something you think might suit them.

Australian songstress Lenka, formerly the voice for indie band Decoder Ring, moved to L.A last year and recorded her solo debut. “Trouble is a Friend” is the second single from the album. The track has been remixed by some great talent and since it is not going to be released it goes straight to the blogs. We choose to feature the remix from London’s Sam Roqwell & I Sancho (DJ Sam Young, whose new single “Peep This” drops on Plant Music later this month).
