The Norwegian duo better known as Loveless have been tearing up dancefloors all across Norway, Scandinavia and Europe with their brand of UK garage/r’n’b influenced tracks that echoes with an air of Scandinavian melancholia, they’re now getting ready to drop their new EP “Relationships” and we’re of course extremely happy to have them onboard for the Discobelle mix series.

Their mix is like the perfect companion for when you’re preparing to head out, starting things off smooth with Justin Bieber and then pops off with tracks from the likes of The Streets, Jamie XX, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Disclosure, SBTRKT, Jammer etc. along with a couple of special treats.

T&A Records comes back strong with their latest release from newcomer Locke. The Brooklyn producer just released a two track “Only Buggin'” EP that’s been described as “Mookie and MJ Cole x Sbtrkt x 90’s R&B” and “bridging the gap between Teddy Riley and Gorgon City.” Very steamy dashed with kalimba stuff here.

Spaced out new track from SBTRKT that also features rapper A$AP Ferg.

“heres another song from my upcoming album. i started this in London with an idea i recorded on an upright piano – took this to Los Angeles (set up at Fleas the Boat studio in Silver Lake) collaborating further with Stella (drums) & Emily (vocals) from Warpaint – took this back to london to work more arrangement ideas to it and finally a couple months later took that to New York (Downtown – The Roots were in the studio next door!) and collaborated with Ferg (out to our friend Callender for connecting us) this is one of my fave tracks and seemed to be a fitting ending to the record too. this started with me having a seed idea but seeing it grow way beyond that with these multi layers of collaboration and places. shout to ferg, stella and emily for their input!”

New Year’s treat from SBTRKT.

“last track from my set last night. collab with friends jessie ware, tic and a sprinkle of sampha from 2 years back! happy 2014.”

This intense SBTRKT remix of London outfit Portico Quartet’s track “Line” sounds like it could be played late at night at some small, hidden away cavernlike club and people would freak out.

The track is taken from the new Portico Quartet “Live Remix” album (released on March 25th by Realworld). The double CD will also feature remixes from Will Ward, Luke Abbott, Scratcha DVA, LV, Capac, Konx-om-Pax and Luca Lozano as well as the whole of their critically acclaimed album “Portico Quartet live”.
