Sharkslayer – Who Is He (video)

Femme En Fourrure – Plump Bisquit

Femme En Fourrure just released a new EP on Top Billin. “Plump Bisquit” is one of my favourite tracks at the moment so be sure to go grab your copy.

“Femme En Fourrure aka Juuso & Bianca, our fellow disco/house lovers from Helsinki have been making waves witheir minimalistic yet bass-heavy house sound lately. Juuso has been known as disco-enthusiast and now with a female companion, they create a house sound that very much 2010. They’ve done remixes for Crystal Fighters, Edu K, Myd (‘Train To Bamako’) anyone, huge ep that one) and a release for Dandy Kids records last year, so it’s time to release a single from them on Top Billin. As Femme En Fourrure and Sharkslayer are friends, what would be more appropriate than a Sharkslayer remix/‘demon dub’ (a true soundboy burial) to accompany the single. This for the ones who love that techier side of house but with soft deep subs and airhorns. If you play that Renaissance Man/Sound Pellegrino style as well as some Sinden/Crookers vibes, you might find this relevant to your interests. There’s a lot more in the pipeline from the dynamic duo, so keep watch.”

Sekta – Peterpan (Sharkslayer Nassau VIP)

“The Sekta EP has been making a great impact with the dj’s and crowds all over the world, so it’s time to unleash the Sharkslayer Nassau VIP of “Peterpan” that has been our secret weapon. Go kill them dancefloors.”

‘Great! Definitely feeling the kwaito’n’bass vibe on these, nicely restrained, very on point!’ – Bok Bok

‘I pick up Peterpan. Sounds really crazy!’ – Congorock

‘Playin your track every night!’ ‘ – Jokers Of The Scene

‘Killer EP, Jabajaws smacks it everytime!’ – Tomb Crew

‘I like the Jabajaws instrumental. Very nice.’ – Fake Blood

‘Jabajaws instrumental will be making its way into my box for sure!’ – L-Vis 1990

‘Liked this one and reviewed it for new global bass column in dj mag, nice one! (3,5*) – Sinden

Sharkslayer (preview video)

Here’s a Sharkslayer song that’s been tearing it up for a minute from behind computer screens of DJs closely knit to Top Billin. Pushups, seen here performing at Green Room Sessions in Malmö, is one of two dudes responsible for what you’re hearing. The track is called “Dwarfs” and is a remix lifted from Malente & Jay Robinson’s EP, which is out in the next couple of days on Southern Fried! Go get some.

Jamtech Foundation – Park The 9 ft. Voltage

Our friends in Jamtech Foundation premièred their latest track on the Mad Decent blog today. We hear that their are remixes coming from Sharkslayer and So Shity on this track which is the first track to leak from their upcoming album.

Top Billin x CTRL Clothing – Moscow Madness mix

The Finnish brethren Top Billin (together with Sharkslayer) bringing the goods on this mix for Finnish clothing label CTRL.

“Here’s the CTRL x TOP BILLIN mix, previously only available on a promotional (free) CD… Here’s why it’s called ‘Moscow Madness’: We went earlier this year to Moscow to play there with Eli Escobar during the big Moscow fashion fair called ‘Faces & Laces’ (think of Bread & Butter but inna Moskovits’ way, we see you Oleg), played 3 gigs, ended up having too much fun, missing planes back home, meeting up with some real life gangster types and just generally being a bunch of bourgeoisie Finns with Timothy from Ctrl Clothing. Needed to make a mix for it. Enjoy”

BONUS: The seriously awesome edit from Sharkslayer of the Hot City tune “No More”.

Gostoso Remix EP

Daniel Haaksman is just about to release his new “Gostoso” remix EP, and it’s available on both vinyl and digital. It contains remixes from Edu K, DJ Rob 3, Joao Brasil and Schlachthofbronx. We’ve been enjoying all the tracks he’s been feeding us this year and this release doesn’t let us down. To promote the release he is sending out a previously unreleased dub remix of his track “Pobum Coco” from our Finnish boys in Sharkslayer.
