Air France, our favorite Swedish tropical indiepop/disco outfit, just released a new EP on the Sincerely Yours label. It’s called “No Way Down” and features this track “June Evenings”. It’s a summery piece of popmusic with horns, shimmering samples and beautiful vocals.
This is the new Jonas Game single “Fish And Shark” that’s released by Sincerely Yours today. Heartfelt pop music the way it’s done in Sweden. Here’s the story:
“I rented a string quartet and professional musicians, went into a fancy studio contrary to my ideals. Somehow lost myself along the way, sort of like Fleetwood Mac in the 90’s. The bill ended at more than 30 000 SEK, oh the anxiety but as a gentleman i decided to give the track away for free, maybe just to further disappoint studio owners and musicians who were promised the profit. Hot on the heels of what is rumoured to have been an epic performance at SXSW and a few select Australian dates, The Tough Alliance boys release a new single. It’s called “Neo Violence” (can also be found here) and we’ve got the b-side “Lucky” for you all to enjoy. This sounds like an end of the night song, you know when you’ve been out partying and then just sit somewhere watching the sun go up.
