This man just doesn’t stop cranking out quality. Fresh off the release of “Passenger” on The Magician‘s Potion Records, Slaptop is back with a brand new single titled “I Try.” The San Francisco based artist joins forces with vocalist Olivia Florentino for the debut release of his very own Sunsquad Records. With a debut album rumored for release in early 2017, Slaptop looks to add to his rapidly growing catalogue of stellar releases.

I’m loving this new release from San Franciso-based talent Slaptop featuring vocalist Will Fraker. I’ll admit that I haven’t heard of him before, but his new single “Passenger” is the perfect fit for The Magician‘s Potion Records imprint. Fraker has a smooth and soothing tone to his voice that sounds tailor-made for dance music and Slaptop infuses a groovy disco melody combined with uplifting indie-dance elements throughout the song to great effect. After listening to more of his material, mainly his official remixes for artists like Zhu, Jaymes Young, Fetty Wap, Bob Moses, and more, it’s clear to see that this guy is an authentic talent for the future.

Stay tuned for a debut Slaptop album to come and grab your copy of “Passenger” here.

If you’re looking for the track to fill all of your groovy needs, take no look further than Lonely Boy’s remix of Slaptop’s “Walls.” Artist Joshua Heath, who among other things has a masters in Jazz Studies, has crafted together a new persona under Lonely Boy’s and has pulled off this stunning remix that’s not to miss.

It’s Tuesday and we’re looking for some serious vibes to rock out to, and this may just be the answer.

We’re ready for the weekend already, if we’re being entirely honest, and we’re alleviating this need with the dance-groove of Slaptop’s newest remix of Bob Moses’ “Tearing Me Up.” The track brings a dark groove with an addicting 4×4 set of drums and we’re unable to stop playing the beautiful song.

Whatever you’re doing to celebrate tequila and tacos tonight, make sure this track plays once (or twice) during your night.

We’re looking for some good vibes to help us close out the work week, and we’re loving this piece by Slaptop called “Remember.” Considering it’s the end of the month, and August is sort of the unofficial big month for festivals in a lot of cities, this is helping us mellow out (without falling completely asleep), and get us ready for the exciting events of Saturday and Sunday ahead.

Check it out below.

San Francisco’s Slaptop premieres his +1 Records label mate Fetty Wap “Trap Queen”remix. This follows his original tracks “Sunrise” and “Distraction,” as well as two official remixes for ZHU and Jaymes Young. It seems like Slaptop’s career shows no signs of slowing down any time soon and we’re excited to see what he releases next.

Crackin’ new remix of Slaptop’s summer anthem, ‘Sunrise,’ from Chicago resident and Hey Champ drummer, Rogue Vogue. Injecting his usual penchant for vintage house flare, Rogue Vogue ups the amperage and takes us to a sweaty warehouse party, some where on the south side of town.

Available October 20th via Big Beat Records.
