So Shifty

So Shifty have been the best new thing for me this year. Every remix they put out so far has been spot on. Now they are in the process of releasing their debut EP on Crossfaded Bacon with tracks featuring Ward 21, Natalie Storm, Tifa and Timberlee and with remixes from Emynd, Top Billin, Douster and Them Jeans.

But first we got two new refixes for you to enjoy.

So Shifty megapost

The German guys in So Shifty are back with some new heat. I love how more and more people from the dancehall scene are making the transaction over to more electronic stuff. I hope this is new beginning with Jamtech Foundation and now So Shifty. They sent over a couple of remixes this time, but I have heard some of their original tracks and they’re sounding good.

And if you are a fan of Sinden’s radio show you might have heard the “Warm Heart Of Africa” remix on his show last night.

Boom Boom Pow!

This turned up in the mailbox today. Never thought I would like this track but this remix got me rocking to it. Here is what they had to say about it

“So, BEP came with this blatant attempt at making a club track. It’s not outright horrible but we never liked that chick’s vocals at all, plus the track wasn’t really hitting hard enough, so we decided to get rid of all the bad parts, keep the good ones and pump up the bassline and drums a bit. We kept it short and spicy and did a long outro to mix out, hope you will like it!”
