Kaytranada with a nice little dj friendly edit of that amazing Solange track “Cranes In The Sky”.
“I couldn’t help it and i can’t deny how good it sounds. this is just an edit to play on my dj sets, and i played it once and everybody wanted it right away. Honestly i was gonna wait to see if Solange or her team or whoever works for her wouldve ask me to do an offical remix so if they still want to, i could make it sound better than that version but ohhhhh, what the hell….”
Solange celebrated the launch of her own label Saint Records with last weeks release of a 12-track R&B compilation “Saint Heron”. She contributes this self-produced dancepop track entitled “Cash In” that consists of a drum machine beat, hand claps and alluring vocal harmonies.
The soulful, hazy vibes of Cyril Hahn will soon be spilling out of European sound systems as the Swiss producer sets his sights on a number of upcoming overseas tour dates in March.
It’s not often you’re able to pin point an artist’s exact break-out moment, but Hahn’s “Say My Name” remix debuting on BBC Radio 1 by the hand of The XX’s Romy Madley Croft is pretty much it.
Since then, the remix has reached a staggery 600,000 plays and has been succeeded by an equally stunning (literal) sister remix of Solange Knowles’ “Losing You.”
Check the tour dates below along with Hahn’s vivid hour-long guest mix for Gotta Dance Dirty.
