The Sound Pellegrino Thermal Team AKA Teki Latex and Orgasmic of TTC fame have not only given us a fresh sound with a string of solid releases on their recently started Sound Pellegrino label but they’ve also provided us with a couple of sweet mixes like “Cocoa Beach House” and “Rainforest Frog Symphony”. UK genius L-Vis 1990 is definetely one of the most hyped up producers in 2009 going from strength to strength with his funky yet bass heavy releases; he started out with the massive “United Groove” single on Mad Decent, moved onto the recent smash “Night Slugs EP” together with fellow Londoner Bok Bok on Dress 2 Sweat and now he joins the ranks over at the new heavy hitters in Sound Pellegrino with his stunning “Compass/Zahonda EP”. Christian Martin (of Dirtybird fame) gives us his more evil electro/techno take on “Compass”.

One of the best remixes of 2009? L-Vis 1990 is definetely up there with his insanely good rendition of the Jewish traditional influenced track “Sha! Shtil!” from new hype mystery producer Gucci Vump. This remix is bound to get alot of plays from us and of course pretty much everyone else. Excellent French label Sound Pellegrino is of course aboard the Gucci Vump train and the EP drops exclusively on Beatport today, backed with another remix from Downtown (½ of Finnish wonder duo Renaissance Man).

A remix that’s one year old? Sweat It Out proudly presents their latest effort, “Afro Nuts” which is Hollywood duo Yolanda Be Cool’s ode to what they like to call party tech. We can proudly present you with the Douster remix – the French house producer residing in Buenos Aires has gone from strength to strength with his remixes and releases on labels such as new hot shot Sound Pellegrino.
