If you haven’t met Quentin Quatro by now, I’d say it’s time. Chances are, however, you’ve met Alex Gimeno’s alternate alias, Ursula 1000. The Brooklyn based producer has been a staple in the industry for over a decade and has an exceptional resume under the Ursula guise… but we’re here to talk about his new shit!

Simultaneously launching a new production project in tandem with a label, Insect Queen Music, Quentin Quatro debuted in the summer of 2013 with a fantastic single, Disco Quatro, which featured remixes from the likes of Psychemagick, Sleazy McQueen and Space Coast. Fast forward to today and we receive the second offering from Quentin and Insect Queen; the ‘Quatrophonic EP.’

Like it’s predecessor, this joint comes stacked with a host of hot remixers such as Cole Medina and Virgin Magnetic Material. Quetin’s own ‘QQ’s Deep Trax Version’ is a heavy stepper with silky vocal snips and some breathy chord work. Cole Medina turns in a stepper’s delight with his ‘Garage House’ version while The Gemini Bros. take us poolside with their blissed-out reworking.
