The Trouble & Bass crew out of NYC have gone from strength to strength during the last two years. They happen to be one of our favorite dj crews and now they’re about to follow in our footsteps with the latest edition of the Scion compilation CD series. This is the 25th edition and it’s packed to the brim with some of their heavy bass induced gems which we’ve all grown to love. The Trouble & Bass crew out of NYC seem hellbent on world domination, they’ve taken their bass heavy induced music across the world and everywhere they go they turn party crowds into devout bass believers.

Star Eyes has been dj’ing since the age of 15 and now it’s time for her to drop her first EP “Disappear” which is filled with what should be called “haunted house”. The title track is produced with Drop The Lime and it’s a raved up acid bass monster with mind boggling backwards vocals whereas this remix by Paris own Trouble & Bass bandit Mikix The Cat shows us what happens when you incorporate some of that French flavoured house.

This Mishka collabo with Trouble and Bass seems only logic since Luca aka DTL is one of the cover faces for Mishka and both the T&B label and Mishka is Brooklyn based.

The mighty Trouble & Bass crew (Drop The Lime, The Captain, Star Eyes & Math Head) will take the jump across the Atlantic to London tomorrow for an apperance at Night Slugs (run by our homie Alex Bok Bok). The night will serve as a launch party for the fantastic new Drop The Lime single “Hear Me” and it will most likely be insane. Those of you in London should try to hit this but those of us unfortunate not be able to make it to this will have to listen to these tracks + mixes while imaging being liquored up and feeling that bass pound against our bodies.
