“Hideaway” is Icelandic trio Steed Lord‘s first single of 2012 and it is diva disco at its finest. De’Lacy fans can rejoice listening to this group cover the 90s dance pop anthem. Most impressive are singer Kali Bjorgvins vocals, which take center stage and are both resonant and soulful. This updated blast from the past track is sure to put you in a good mood.

Passion Pit is a cute electropop outfit from Massachusetts, Steed Lord are our crazy electro/rap/etc friends from Iceland who gone looking for fortune over in La La land. Here, they finally clash when Steed Lord remixes the latest Passion Pit single “Little Secrets”. The Steed Lorders describe the sound of their remix as “homicide house”, a match made in heaven or?

SAM YOUNG (SEED 026) revised AGAIN

We have featured Sam Young here on Discobelle frequently. So now that he’s releasing an EP on Plant Music, we are of course on it. The release that also features MC Aphletik was originally made in 2005 but is now re-released on Plant Music with remixes from Lee Mortimer, Steed Lord, Karoshi & DC Joseph and Beatnik has been out on iTunes since May 15th.
