New Yorker turned Angelino Louisa Pillot is a member of NYCPARTYINFO (together with producer Steven Bloodbath) and is currently on tour throughout Europe which means that if you have the chance you should catch them (they’re doing a show right here in Malmö on October 15th). This new chilled out haunted house mix of hers was made for clothing label Kaviar & Cigarettes and it’s the perfect companion to be able to ease into the dealings of a new week.

Mix for Kaviar&Cigarettes NYC by LOUISAHHH!!!

NYCPARTYINFO is a newly formed Los Angeles based production team/DJ duo which is comprised of Steven (also known as Steven Bloodbath) and Louisa. They’ve already done a number of remixes for Ladytron, Moby, and SPF 5000, they also have originals coming out soon on More Music, Nervous Records, and Top Billin.

The boys in Classixx commisioned them for a remix of their latest single “Into The Valley” (you might remember the Julio Bashmore one) and NYCPARTYINFO churns out a delicious remix that emphasizes on the yearning of the original vocals but adds funky drums and a touch of shimmering summer house to make it into an instant hit.

People are moving west these days and Cali country seems like the plays to be. Two Philly boys DJ Excel and Steven Bloodbath packed their crates of records and moved out. They have known each other for a long time but they have never done a collabo before so they decided to put a mix out there. Both DJ Excel and Steven has been featured in our “Mixin’ It Up” series before and are always on spot. Apparently, 36 days & 23 hours is how long it would take to walk between Philly and LA. I been waiting for this mix the last couple of days and happy thats it finally here!
