Australia’a very own purveyor of all-things-house – Beni – unleashed his debut album “House Of Beni” on Modular Records October 11th. Second single “Someone Just Like You” features vocal offerings from Mattie Safer (who used to be in The Rapture). We have a Discobelle exclusive in the form of this dark remix from acclaimed Swedish producer Style Of Eye that tweaks the original into sounding more like something you’d listen while racing down the highway in a manic state, we’re talking a sinister big room remix that in its path will only leave pulverized dancefloors.

The good people over at Malibu released this new app for the iPhone just before Christmas, the app features exclusive music from the likes of Major Lazer, Riva Starr, Douster, Mowgli, Mastiksoul, Savage Skulls, Style of Eye and Johan Hugo from Radioclit/The Very Best etc. The app is called Malibu Music Mixer and it lets you mix the music in sync only using the iPhone including EQs, a drumpad and effects. Today, our first release MVSEVM – French Jeans is released all over the internet (iTunes, Juno, Amazon, etc). We are really happy with all the positive response we have been getting from everyone (great support from a lot of DJs, played on Kissy Sell Out’s show on BBC 1 two weeks in a row now, Big Tune of the Week on Joe Ransom’s show on Kiss 100).
