The good people over at Malibu released this new app for the iPhone just before Christmas, the app features exclusive music from the likes of Major Lazer, Riva Starr, Douster, Mowgli, Mastiksoul, Savage Skulls, Style of Eye and Johan Hugo from Radioclit/The Very Best etc. The app is called Malibu Music Mixer and it lets you mix the music in sync only using the iPhone including EQs, a drumpad and effects. Style Of Eye is the definition of creativity and there are not many people who dare say otherwise. Teaming up with Magnus The Magnus (Aka Filthy) they have cooked up the monster that is “Antidote”. With it’s simple yet hugely powerful and ingenious hook that gets under the skin of anyone within earshot, it is underground club music that grabs you, inspires you and definitely keeps you “there”. We are really happy with all the positive response we have been getting from everyone (great support from a lot of DJs, played on Kissy Sell Out’s show on BBC 1 two weeks in a row now, Big Tune of the Week on Joe Ransom’s show on Kiss 100).
