You might remember Wahlström & Valiant from when they won the remix contest for Super Viral Brothers’s track “Hot Chocolate + Polar Bear Rug” that was featured here on Discobelle a while back. Now they are back with their own material on the EP ”Cool Horse EP” that will soon be released on Pophat. First out is “Keep Up” that you can download exclusive here on Discobelle.

It’s saturday night tonight which means that Discobelle DJ’s will head on over to our friends Pastor Wiberg & Go For The Blondes over at Mejeriet in our fair neighbour city of Lund for a gig at their new club night What!?. Super Viral Brothers will be doing their thing aswell. Fun times is bound to be had so all you local peeps should head on down there and get your drink/dance on.

Along with the mixtape you also get some handy instructions from vocalist Anthony Mills for dealing with the mixtape in these H1N1 times…

Super Viral Brothers remix contest winner

The Remix Competition held by Super Viral Brothers and Discobelle has now come to an end and the winner has been hand-picked, there were many great contributions to the competition, but one song made it all the way;

“One sound designer with a passion for retro video games and no-name synthesizers, and one drum & bass and breaks producer with a passion for funk. Together they form “Wahlström & Valiant”, mashing lo-fi electro and breakbeat in a melodic, bouncy way.”

Remix Super Viral Brothers

Together with Discobelle, Pope Records and Super Viral Brothers are setting up a remix competition.

The song to be remixed is the Super Viral Brothers first single “Hot Chocolate + Polar Bear Rug”

The winner of the competition, will have their remix released by Pope Records and will be featured together with Super Viral Brothers in different locations, such as myspace and so on.
