Wednesday and we got another one of those smashing Teddybears mashups for you. The album “Devil’s Music” was just released, go check it out!

“Teddybears delivering yet another gem in their mash/remix bonanza melting superduper fine mc Eve’s “Rocket Scientist” over some Fab Five Taxman creating a PhillySteak Sandwich/Bangers and Mash. Is it healthy? No. But she never sounded more delicious than this: “This is mission control, what is your status? – Super bitchin! I’m ten feet tall and solid gold and I demand submission!”

It’s Wednesday and time for the second edition of the Teddybears remix/mash-up series in anticipation of their upcoming “Devil’s Music” album.

“This time Teddybears got Gnarls Barkley’s Cee-Lo Green singing about his cat…or is he talking about something else? The beat sounds familiar…Is it Coxsone Dodd’s crown jewel – Real Rock, Augustos Pablo? Armagideon Time? And as if that wasn’t enough to get you motor revving, none other than the luscious vixens Kate & Cindy of the B 52′s throw in some moaning and groaning and miiiaowing for good measure and Fred Schneider sings a verse about how his kitty is so soft and sweet and warm and fuzzy…How about that for a double entendre?

Does all this sound confusing to you? Far-fetched? Psycho? It’s all as natural and fresh as a spring breeze though, in the wonderful universe of Teddybears.”

Teddybears are about to unleash their upcoming album “Devil’s Music” sometime towards the end of March. Every week up until the releasedate, we here at Discobelle will provide you with an exclusive remix or mash up of tracks from the album. Here we go!

This is a remix/mashup of Eve’s vocal from the latest single release from Teddybears “Rocket Scientist” mashed with the mighty Kraftwerk’s “Pocket Calculator” from 1981. Just for fun. Just for the sheer hell of it. But it works like magic and there’s no denying it’s a match made in heaven.”

Peter Bjorn & John – Nothing to Worry About (Jocko for Teddybears Remix)

I’m a big Teddybears fan so anything new from them will do until their new album is out and it doesn’t make it worse that it’s a remix of the Peter, Bjorn & John track “Nothing To Worry About”. It’s taken off Peter, Bjorn & John’s second single of “Living Thing”, “It Don’t Move Me”, the single also contains remixes from Miike Snow and Weird Tapes. The single will be released exclusively on Masterbeat.com for one week. Then the EP will be available at all other digital service providers starting July 21st.

Lisa Miskovsky – Still Alive (Mirror’s Edge) (Teddybears Remix)

Swedish Lisa Miskovsky have made the title track for the new DICE, an Electronic Arts studio, game Mirror’s Edge. To promote the game they will release a remix album with the track + remixes from Armand Van Helden, Paul Van Dyk, Junkie XL, Teddybears and Benny Benassi on November 11th.

We got the Teddybears version, where they make Lisa Miskovsky almost sound like Annie or Robyn. Lisa should go into the studio with Klas Åhlund and make some more music like this.
