We’re gearing up for christmas and this excellent remix sent over by the good people over at Adrian Recordings seems only fitting for this time of the year. Strange Maps is Petter Granberg of indie outfit Park Hotell and he makes slow Norwegian influenced disco, here he remixes the new single “Carry Your Weight” by legendary Swedish group The Bear Quartet.

It’s like The Bear Quartet is the Swedish indie-band that always been there. They have released 13 or so albums since the early 90s and now they are back on one of our favourite labels Adrian Recordings. The track “Millions” is a teaser on what to expect from their new album ”89”, that will be out on the wonderful date 090909 (you can pre-order it here). Here is also the first ever remix of a The Bear Quartet track from non other then the wonderful Andreas Tilliander.
