Those mad Italians in The Bloody Beetroots seems to unleash an onslaught of remixes this year, just check this teaser minimix of some of their upcoming remixes.
Italian electro champs in The Bloody Beetroots are gearing up for the release of their debut LP in 2009. “Butter” is off their “Rombo EP” and as a bonus you get a sweet video pf “Cornelius”.
Not only the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games will take place this friday (080808) but also a pretty crazy event takes place in Stockholm. WESC are the promoters and they’ll turn the Stureplan district smack in the centre of the city into a giant club (capacity 50 000) with top dj’s such as: Steve Angello och Sebastian Ingrosso, The Bloody Beetroots and Busy P. To promote the party we got this remix of the Aston Shuffle track “Stomp Yo Shoes” done by The Bloody Beetroots (sorry, stream only).
We’ve been fans of the new rising star from Italy, Congorock, ever since he first started sending us e-mails with his tracks/mixes. Now he’s inked a deal with Fools Gold Records (look out for an EP dropping soonish), started working with The Bloody Beetroots and the rest of the electro elite + he’s just finished a few dates in the US where he, according to our friends in Palms Out, “blew up”. Here’s his latest track, a hard hitting remix of the Bugo track “Primitivo”. We have to say that we haven’t heard of Bugo before but he’s apparently a Italian singer/songwriter. This is a dancefloor stormer if we ever heard one so enjoy it.
Our friends from the Sorry, Ghettoblaster club down in Warsaw, Poland just dropped this in our inbox. A video showcasing their 2nd birthday bash with The Bloody Beetroots and it looks like it was a blast.
Alberto of the Don’t Fuck About crew in Milan tipped us off about this up and coming italian producer. His Majesty Andre is part of the growing fidget/electro/house movement in Italy that also contains already well known names such as The Bloody Beetroots, Crookers, 3 Is A Crowd, Pulling Teeth, Congorock etc etc. These two original tracks + a Zoot Woman remix shows off his flawless technique and his various production style.
