Last month London outfit The Egg came off their hiatus with a brand new single called “Catch,” a catchy (pun intended) disco track with funky bass guitar lines and uplifting melodies. Today the group releases their fourth album, Something To Do, via Squarepeg Records. The album is ten tracks reminiscent of the great UK dance-rock groups of the 80s and 90s (think Kraftwerk and New Order). Something To Do is both “light and deep” with a sound big enough to fill a stadium. ├é┬áDiscobelle is excited to premiere the full album stream. Take a listen below and head on over to iTunes to purchase.

Earlier this month, The Egg released their EP titled Catch via Squarepeg Records. “Catch” is a feel good electro disco single with a big chorus, basking in summer sunshine. Featured on the EP are also remixes provided courtesy of the inimitable PSYCHEMAGIK and innovative disco kids THE C90s. The group is also working on a forthcoming album, produced by Bruno Ellingham who has also worked with 80s electro pioneers New Order and Goldfrapp. The album is due out for release next month so keep your ears peeled…
