Teflon Sega is a new enigmatic electronic R&B project that calls to mind early The Weeknd. Their new single “Beretta Lake” is a collaborative effort with fellow rising act SAINt JHN. The ethereal, moody track blooms with echoed, siren synths and a haunting vocal that slurs to open with “drinking all night but I swear I been sober / we ain’t talked in a minute but I’m gonna head over.”
Canadian artist The Weeknd collaborates with French dance music legends Daft Punk on new track “Starboy”.
Malmö rapper Rebstar (internationally known for his work with the likes of Drake, Trey Songz, The Weeknd etc.) finally dropped his debut album “Girls Like Nicole” last friday (June 3rd) via Today Is Vintage and it’s 11 tracks of heartfelt hip hop with alot of warmth that still maintains an ear to the street and to Swedish hit making territory. Reb wears his heart on his sleeve for this one and it’s a magnificent album.
