He manages to kickstart 2012 with this boombastic production for Brooklyn rapper Theophilus London, synths frantically buzzing around the beginning of the track along with a tweaked vocal line urging girls to “show their nasty side” and then Rustie kicks the whole thing into full gear with a drop so relentless that Theophilus London’s only choice is to go in hard.

Kinda like riding on the back of a bald eagle, Theophilus London’s latest single gets a Soul Clap remix that makes you feel like you’re soaring through the clouds. Theo’s contributions are still left in, but muted in the background, like he’s rapping in the room down the hall. It’s not quite a dub, but pretty close to it, and the vibe here is similar to the brief period of bliss after the free in-flight drinks have been served, right before the turbulence.
