New Tittsworth single

Tittsworth been busy in the studio and now it’s time to unleash his efforts. Plant Music is proud to announce the release of the Tittsworth “12 Steps” album in August 2008. We kick off proceedings with a 12″ on Plant/Money Studies & digital release of “Broke Ass N*gga” (probably one of the funniest vocals since the Humpty Dance) in May. The 12″ contains the original version, and amazing DJ Assault remix (which is now also the actual album version), his instrumental, a dub remix by The Glass and an accapella. This is one 12″ and one album that you need to pick up.

Tittsworth – Broke Ass N*igga (The Glass remix) (zShare)

Tittsworth – Broke Ass N*igga (DJ Assault remix) (zShare)

Tittsworth – Album Snippets (zShare)

Snippet tracklist:

Tittsworth (ft. Kid Sister & Pase Rock) – WTF
Tittsworth (ft. The Federation) – Drunk As F*ck
Tittsworth (ft. Nina Sky & Pitbull) – Here He Comes

Royalty

Two of our favorite dj’s, Tittsworth & DJ Ayres, run a label called T & A Records and on their latest release they teamed up with the Unruly camp for this “Royalty EP”. This is top class b-more and you all need to cop it ASAP. Ayres put together a special treat for all you Discobelle readers, a 11 minute promomix with all the tracks from the EP.

DJ Ayres – Royalty mix for Discobelle (zShare)

TRACKLIST:

DJ Technics – What Not What
Tittsworth – Ante Up
Scottie B – Find A Way
DJ Tameil – Bump Like This
Bamabounce vs. Say Wut – Punchemindaface
DJ Ayres – Angel Of Death (Punchemindaface Part 2)

BONUS: Ayres was also kind enough to give us some more goodies, three exclusive promotracks and they are…

DJ Ayres – Angel Of Death (Fuck Off Nazi Punks Instrumental) (zShare)

This is the demo version of the Slayer joint from Royalty, before I added the “Punchemindaface” vocals.

Tittsworth – Ante Up (DJ Ayres “up the tempo” edit) (zShare)

Tempo change tracks are the flavor of the month since Micky Slim’s “Jump Around,” so here is another one to throw in that pile. It starts at the original Ante Up intro then speeds up to Tittsworth’s remix.

KW Griff – In The Air Tonight (DJ Ayres Quiet Storm) (zShare)

I’d been ending my sets with KW Griff’s remix of Phil Collins, but it was a little too rowdy for my tastes, so I redid it with mellower drums and changed the structure up a bit to give it some movement.

Nadastrom

Since I’m out of words on how to write another post about American Boy I’m going to leave it to the promo mail we got:

“Washington, DC figureheads Dave Nada and Matt Nordstrom first joined forces in the fall of 2007 for their weekly party “trap”. Every week after some heavy drinking, the two discussed the meaning of life and a few song ideas they had. Their initial tracks caught the attention of Dave “Switch” Taylor who immediately wanted them for his legendary Dubsided imprint. With tunes getting support from the likes of Diplo, A-trak, Tittsworth, The Rub, Craze, Klever, Drop the Lime, and Jokers of the Scene, these dudes look to set the game on fire. Here’s a preview…”

New NADASTROM EP coming soon on Dubsided! Stay tuned for an all new Dubsided website!!

P.S. I do love this remix

DJ Wool

DJ Wool, one half of The Glass, is a busy man. He’s got a 12″ called “Gangsters & Models” coming out on Pale Music with remixes from DJ Krames and The Scandals. He has also been in the studio for 3 months mixing Tittsworth‘s debut album. On top of that he is packing up all his stuff and moving to Berlin for a while. But before his turntables got stuffed away for the move he made this mix to say goodbye to Brooklyn.

In Berlin he will be remixing the new The Glass album and doing DJ-gigs around Europe.

Welcome to Europe!
