On Friday September 7th we receive another edition of the Poolside series from Toolroom Records. “Poolside Ibiza 2018” is basically your essential collection of summer tracks to soundtrack those long hazy days spent by the pool, two very talented DJs were recruited to mix this year’s edition. They both hail from Portugal – Moullinex and Xinobi (the pair have releases on labels such as Ministry Of Sound, Nervous, Gomma, Anjunadeep) and they might just be two of the biggest artists in the indie dance/nu-disco world

The 40 tracks from a whole host of A-List DJs and producers including Moullinex, Xinobi, Eli & Fur, Moon Boots, Tensnake, Booka Shade, Hot Toddy, Art Of Tones, Cavego, Perel, Mambo Brothers, NTEIBINT, Justin Jay, Franky Rizardo, Bruxas, David Hohme, Moscoman, Simple Symmetry, Ali Kuru and many more alongside a brand new exclusive from Boys Get Hurt with Moullinex & Xinobi’s two full length DJ mixes completing the package.

German techno icon Felix Kröcher returns to Toolroom Records with stunning new track “You Gotta” which is lifted off the brand new Toolroom Records’ Amsterdam 2015 compilation (includes 40 tracks with contributions from big names such as Technasia & Green Velvet, Maceo Plex, Hot Since 82, Julian Jeweil and Pete Tong & Monkman etc).

“You Gotta” is a driven techno track with a pulsating bass and crisp sounding hi-hats that’s matched up with an undeniable groove.

Weiss Man Gone

London producer Weiss is no stranger to soulful, summertime tracks. “My Sister,” released in August 2013, is a classic that house track will always get hands in the air. His newest track, “Man Gone,“ is no different.

Driven by a bluesy piano loop, “Man Gone” is a steady builder that transports you to a porch performance in the sultry, steamy South. Haunting, smokey female vocals sing about Death coming to visit a man with a fever. As the kick drops out at the final break, you can’t help but get chills as she sings, “Ohh, Death in the morning. Ohhhh. Death. Yes.”

“Man Gone” is out now on Toolroom Records. It includes a synth-driven remix from German duo Tube & Bergers. You can listen to both tracks, below, and purchase them here.

Toolroom Records saves our summer with their brand new “Poolside Ibiza 2015” compilation that will be released on July 31st.

The party season on the island is in full swing and the pool parties kicking off across Ibiza, “Poolside Ibiza” consists of a brilliant collection of warming, summer anthems; the perfect soundtrack to those long, hazy days spent by the pool. This year’s edition has been beautifully constructed by two of the biggest DJs in the field; Autograf & Kolombo and we here at Discobelle can premiere one of the tracks from the compilation.

Portuguese producer D-Compost and Greece producer Saccao heads up a quirky, driven house track that contains darker elements with songstress Cari Golden providing spellbinding vocals and is best suited for after the sunset when you have the whole night ahead of you.

London/Los Angeles based producer/dj maestro Doorly is about to unleash his new “Thang” EP on July 6th via the fine folks over at Toolroom Records and we here at Discobelle can premiere the absolutely massive title track.

“Thang” contains a highly addictive and soulful disco sample that’s presented with an uplifting, teched out groove that basically has summer scorcher written all over it.

As the crowds flock to this year’s Winter Music Conference in Miami, Toolroom Records gives us the soundtrack to a day in Miami. Their “Poolside Miami” compilation is back for another edition of with fresh blissed-out and pool lounging house beats. This year’s edition of “Poolside Miami” has been mixed by two of the hottest DJ’s in the dance mucis scene; Cyclist & Framewerk.

The compilation showcases the best emerging talent of 2015 and features a massive 44 tracks, including this Discobelle premiere of the Cyclist remix of one our favorite tunes as of late, Pat Lok and his beautiful sundrenched house cut “All In My Head”.

While we here in the Northern hemisphere are bundling up and bracing ourselves for the cold winter months ahead, Australia is gearing up for summer and festival season, what better way to get into the summer spirit than with the next installment in the hugely popular Poolside compilation series namely “Poolside Australia” which will be released November 17th via Toolroom.

The compilation features 32 full-length tracks and a handful of exclusives, among the exclusives we find the track “Won’t Give Up” from UK house duo Framewerk that enchants us with blissful vocals, a catchy melody and its sunkissed beat.

Chicago based acid house legend DJ Pierre collaborates with British producer/dj Doorly on new track “Gotta Get” (drops October 27th), get ready for a jacking 303 bassline interpolated with housey vocals and an amazing groove.

The track has already garnered support from the likes of Jackmaster, Skream, Annie Mac and many more and it’s the perfect inaugural release of a new collaboration EP series “Doorly & Friends” being released by the mighty Toolroom Records.
