Katy B – Broken Record (Hoops remix)

Nina Agzarian or Nina Las Vegas who some of you might know from her show on Australian radio station Triple J along with her two best friends Anna Lunoe and Bad Ezzy make music under the Hoops moniker.

This is their remix of Katy B’s single “Broken Record” which was made on request from Sony to hype her recent Australia tour, the Hoops crew drops it down to around 110bpm for a less rave and more of that lovely slow jam feel.

French producers and founding members of the “we’ll be everywhere in 2011″ crew Club Cheval – Canblaster and Sam Tiba – just made this mix for Australian radio station Triple J in anticipation of an Australian tour (beware Aussies, they’ll most likely destroy your clubs). This mix gives us an insight to the no-limit, mindbreaking abilities of this pair, where they go on a rampage of tunes with a focus on bass and fun.

Perth producer/dj Kito has been dubbed “the queen of dubstep” and is a big MySpace find from fellow Grinder Markus Lol Boys; “She’s like the Australian Joker“. Kito gives us mesmerizing dubstep tracks that simply pulls you in.

She has a massive EP entitled “On The Floor” dropping soon on Skreams label Disfigured Dubz and has done mixes for among others Australias premier radio statio Triple J + Mary Anne Hobbs over at BBC Radio 1. We’ve got the Triple J mix for your enjoyment and remember keep a close watch on Kito.

Nacho Lovers mixes

We’re celebrating the start of the new week with a Nacho Lovers bonanza, two tasty mixes from our favorite Canadian jacking house duo. These are pure gold and will make sure that the week just flies by and before you know it weekend debauchery is upon us again.

The first mix was done for Australian radio station Triple J to promote their recent Australian tour. The second mix is actually the first part of the brand new Fools Gold podcast series, entitled “I Nacho NY” and the boys describe it as an:

“ode to New York house from the 1990’s. Everything is either by a NY artist, NY remixer, was released on a NY Label, or just fit that New York ’sound’ of the time. This is stuff we are heavily influenced by when it comes to making music.”
