Acclaimed UK based vocalist Karen Harding (known from her work together with among others Wilkinson, Paul Woolford, Giorgio Moroder, The Magician, Tujamo, Example, Le Youth and Purple Disco Machine), fellow UK house duo Future Kings, and renowned Australian producer L’Tric collaborate on the brand new single “Rely” (a partnership between labels Ultra Music, home to Sofi Tukker, Kygo, Deadmau5 etc. and Neon Records home to Meduza, Dynoro, Joel Corry etc.) which will be unleashed tomorrow Friday, February 21st. We here at Discobelle can offer it up as an exclusive premiere today!
The track itself is a huge sounding, super infectious pop/dance mega smasher with worldwide hit written all over it, “Rely” cheekily uses the Bee Gees’ lyric “We can rely on each other” (made famous by Dolly Parton & Kenny Rogers) and also comes backed with remixes from the likes of Offaiah, John Gibbons and Majestic & Luis.
“This song was literally written about the energy of the crowds at our shows so we wanted to literally capture that energy for the video too”
NYC based warner case is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, producer, and cat lover with a passion for creating unforgettable experiences. He was named one of Audiomack’s “Top 20 Emerging Artists” of 2019. His new single “if it fits” (out now via French label Unity) further cements that notion with its bubbling beat and warm vocals. The track has already been supported by The Magician, Martin Garrix, Ultra Music and more.
“if it fits” came from my finally accepting what the world has been telling me since birth: be yourself. We’re the only ones in the world uniquely like us, so why try to be someone we’re not? I spent too much time worrying about what other people think, and changing myself to try to adapt to that. but once I truly accepted me for who i am, everything in life fell into place. it’s a rewarding feeling. In particular, I wrote this about accepting differences in a significant other — my fiancée in this case — and realizing it’s these very differences that make someone special. love them for their quirks”
Brisbane artist Golden Vessel just dropped the visuals for his album track “TONIGHT” (featuring Sydney rap duo Cult Sh?tta, the track taken off his recently released album “SLOWSHINE”), on which we hear his beats meeting a subtle lo-fi electronic pop sound.
“‘TONIGHT’ is about feeling introverted and antisocial but still trying to make an effort to go out and see people.”
