Swedish rap duo Ison & Fille and a lovely, bumping club remix of their latest single “Kungar” from fellow Swedes Jeansbjörn & Alex Thunder (of UMYO fame) who seems to be calling themselves Up To No Good.
Our Stockholm friends, La Vida Locash, are putting together a big summer party tomorrow night at Färgfabriken. They invited fellow Awesome Agency dj Cobra Krames who will show us Swedes how they rock it in Brooklyn. Joining in on the mayhem are: UMYO, Audiofon, Kvinnokollektivet and La Vida Locash themselves.
The La Vida Locash head honcho also gave us two tracks that we could post in order for you guys to get pumped up. First out we have Cobra Krames who brings us a new track on which he blends that classic Donnis acappella over a synthblazed club beat, then we have Swedish techhouse phenomena Adrian Lux and his new protegee Florés having a go at the upcoming Krames single “Bar 2 Bar”.
Swedish rappers Lorentz & M. Sakarias brought down a storm of praise here in Sweden with the release of their debut album “Vi Mot Världen” a while back, a summer album if we ever saw one. And now the single “Baby” is on its way (dropping May 11th), where fellow dynamic Swede duo UMYO remixes the track into a discofied corker.
Another fine remix from the boys in UMYO. They flip “Walking On The Moon” which is a new track from r’n'b star The Dream (hsi new album “Love vs. Money” drops tomorrow), beefing it up to get that clubby feeling.
The new hope in Swedish hip hop, Lorentz & M.Sakarias, have finally finished their debut album “Vi Mot Världen” and it drops today (those of you in Scandinavia can also cop it on iTunes). We at Discobelle got the exclusive stream (well, along with MySpace) of the whole album. On the album they’ve worked with producers such as UMYO, Jeansbjörn and the British electropopsters in Futurecop! + vocalists such as Baltimore rapper Rye Rye, Swedish singstress Marit Bergman, Newkid etc. The album is characterized by a fun and playful attitude where the duo shows their diverse influences and it’ll surely be absolutely massive this spring/summer.
Cocotaxi together with Stockholm Beat Connection are premiering their new club The Church at Fabriken in Stockholm this friday and they’re bringing in our favorite French b-more hero Kazey to create some mayhem. Here are two tracks to serve as a small appetizer, the first one is a moviesample based b-more track from Cocotaxi and the second one is UMYO’s excellent take on that Lil Wayne track “Ms Officer”.
Last day of 2008 and somehow we never got around to post this (along with a ton of other stuff). Here’s a track from Swedish dj duo UMYO that have consistently been providing us with quality productions, their remixes/edits are always on point but also alot of fun. Here they continue their collaboration with up and coming Swedish rappers, Lorentz & M.Sakarias with a new take on their own remix of Wiz Khalifas “Say Yeah” where they make excellent use of the Coldplay track “Viva La Vida”. Keep an eye out for them in 2009!
We’re back from a weekend in Switzerland and thanks to sporadic internet connection we’re getting to ready to gear up with a shitload of posts. Big thanks to Mel from Audioporno/Wildlife, Archie and Dave + the rest of the Wasserwerk crew in Bern and the Disco Slack boys in Zürich.
Swedish rappers Lorentz & Sakarias are grinding away right now with a single coming up along with their debut album + a mixtape being produced by Jeansbjörn. This is a teaser of the murdering swedish version “A Milli” (featured on the mixtape) done up by the boys and remixed by dj/production duo UMYO.
Kristian keeps telling us that juke will be the big thing in 2008, maybe he’s right. The Swedish duo Umyo mailed us their latest remix which is a juke take on the R Kelly track “Hook It Up”.
