There is no shortage of big parties around but not everyday there is epic party. The parties you’re gonna tell your children about when you grow old. Last years My Crew Be Unruly party was one of those parties. Lots of memories and stories but the biggest moment was when K-Swift(R.I.P) was killing the main room and you could touch the energy in the air. When Wes got on right after, all black people left and only a couple of white hipsters were still dancing (made me laugh but not stop dancing ’cause he was as always amazing). And if I didn’t love DJ Sega’s music before that night he got my full attention when he did his “no headphone” back to back with Wes. AMAZING! Then there was Scottie B and DJ Class live on the mic, Blaqstarr singing and Emynd and Bo Bliz tearing up the yard. What a good night.

This years party is dedicated to K-swift who sadly past away the day that followed last years night.

This party was the bomb, oh such good times! People came from all over the East Coast and the lineup was incredible.

DJ Class, the man behind anthems like “Tear The Club Up” and “Stop Snitchin” is releasing his new album “Alameda & Coldspring” and here we got the first single to drop. As the first guy to release music on Unruly Records he is one of the producers who shaped Baltimore Club into what it is today.

Our buddy DLake (previously mentioned here) just e-mailed us some new stuff.

Texan producer/dj Bird Peterson did this bouncy remix of the track “Holy Ghost In The Club” from DLakes live group Claire Hux (they just signed to Unruly Records). They call themselves a party rap group with a live show more resembling some of those early 90’s groups such as Bel Biv Divoe, Kid n Play, Fresh Prince of Bel Air but with more syncopated dances and goofy lyrics.

Claire Hux also have a brand new mixtape coming out in a few weeks, mixed by the one and only Scottie B.

DLakes new EP “Bmore of a Hipster v2.0″ (out on Unruly) has been out for a while now but I still haven’t heard anyone play “White Pants” in Sweden. I totally love that track, it makes my face light up and my feet move. Do I really need to buy a pair of white pants… probably now.

Actually the whole EP is filled with party baltimore bangers and you should buy it at TTL or Itunes or wherever today. DJs with self respect play 320 mp3s only but you all know that.

Also, if you get the chance check out Claire Huxtable that’s a 100% live show with DLakes music. They are frequently touring the states and are looking for gigs overseas. So hopefully I get to dance to the live version soon. I think I’m saving my new pants.

Philly dj/producer Emynd has been blowing up lately with a series of excellent blends and remixes. Today sees the digital release of his EP “Philly 2 Bmore” on Unruly Records and “To All My Haters” is the opening track and it sounds a little something like this:

“A pretty simple and traditional track with a lot of bass and a menacing synth line. I rocked the most memorable line from Shawty Lo’s “Dey Know” (”…to all my Haters!”) and added a silly “F*ck you!” chant but this is by no means a “Dey Know” remix–it’s a whole new song. So far, this ish has worked really well in the club alongside alot of the more aggressive Bmore that a lot of us already play. People love yelling “F*ck you!” apparently. Obviously, this track is really Mike Mumbles and Say Wut inspired.”

Update: Unruly is turning 15 and they are throwing a big ass party in Baltimore on friday. Check out that lineup and then ask yourself if you really can afford to miss out. And if good music isen’t enough they have free kegs all over the club and serving free breakfast at 4am (ha)!
