URB Magazine pulled this one out of their hat, a remix EP with some excellent names commissioned. Grindin fam Acid Girls delivers the goods with their spectacular take on “We Are Water”. Other remixers include: Tommie Sunshine, Daisy O’Dell, Dark Party and Pollyn.

Our extended family over in New York, Plant Music, has another quality release on the way. Loose Shus is from San Francisco, he was featured as a part of URB Magazine’s Next 100 for 2009 and will also be on the upcoming “Valerie And Friends” compilation (put together by the good people in French collective Valerie). This 12″ release “Taurus” sees him bringing us pulsing synths, funky riffs and sharp beats for that new breed of disco. We’ve got the track “Six Minute” and remix by Los Angeles producer Keenhouse of the title track.
