After the success of his recently released album “Invisible”, much acclaimed German house DJ/producer Sharam Jey is set to release the second instalment of the album’s stellar remix package, “Invisible – The Remix Album (Part 2)”, via Bunny Tiger Records on December 10th (Part 1 of the remix package dropped about two weeks ago)

The full 22 track remix album (Part 1 and Part 2) follows the original LP (released back in September) which saw him deliver 14 synth laced tracks that drew inspiration from the likes of Giorgio Moroder, Röyksopp, Daft Punk and Depeche Mode with guest vocal contributions from Little Boots, Dirty Vegas, KLP, Kat, Dacia Bridges and Ashibah.

The second remix package includes reworks by the likes of likes of Kolombo and Mason, we here at Discobelle can premiere the remix from UK based producer Vanilla Ace which makes sure to transform the track “Planet Love” into a steadfast, deep house groover that will make wonders on dancefloors.

All in all, the new remix album complements the original LP perfectly and serves up an intriguing variety of dancefloor ready tracks by a handpicked array of international talents.

Treasure Fingers and Vanilla Ace are back with a fresh new EP and we’re stoked to have the premiere. The two-track Sweat EP features a wide range of sonic influences, with the title track “Sweat” delivering a healthy dose of driving 808 drum loops, topped off with a subtle and eclectic Western Asian horn melody. Track two, appropriately titled as “Crazy,” is the perfect soundtrack to your late night escapade, designed with the sole purpose of getting your feet moving and grooving. Out now via Treasure Fingers’ imprint Psycho Disco!, the Sweat EP also comes in conjunction with a series of U.S. tour dates which can be seen via the flyer below. The EP can be purchased here.

Dynamic duo Krafty Kuts and Dynamite MC pair up with Jurassic 5’s Chali 2na for the release of the second track “It Ain’t My Fault” (drops tomorrow March 31st via Australian label Central Station Records) from their forthcoming album “All 4 Corners”. The track is packed with an unstoppable energy consisting of funky beats, a banging bassline, chopped up vocals and some fine scratching skills from Krafty Kuts.

House mainstay Vanilla Ace headlines the remix package (which also features remixes from Taisun, Kraak & Smack, Bass Kleph and Beat Fatigue) and he injects the track with with a thumping bassline and uplifting percussion merging the breakbeat of the original version with his signature house sound.

Norwegian nu-disco prodigy Cavego is about to unleash his “Red Light” single (a track that features the vocal offerings of Australian singer/songwriter Arielle) via Finnish label Youth Control.

We here at Discobelle can premiere the remix from Finnish producer Koobra (who has produced under the Helsinki 78-82 outfit and also as a solo artist), he delivers an elegant sounding and sparkling disco house remix, keeping the hooks and catchiest elements of the original version while adding his own flavour.

The track has already picked up support from the likes of Thomas Gold, Roger Sanchez, Cedric Gervais, Riva Starr, Vanilla Ace, Felix Da Housecat, Chus & Ceballos and more.

We sat down with Vanilla Ace shortly after his set, and we had an absolute blast at the Hilton Hotel lobby, where we talked old school DJ-ing, advice to future musical artists, and even a bit about George Clooney.

He’s also got a couple of fantastic remixes out for us, just in time to kick off the new week. Check out both tracks below, and read below for the fantastic interview!

Oriano is a Munich based producer that’s about to drop his debut single “Pony” October 10th on Milk & Sugar Recordings, the track is a great sounding housed up remake of the smooth, classic jam with the same name from Ginuwine. Vocals on the track comes from The Real Milli Vanilli singer Ray Horton adding a soulful touch to the track.

London producer extraordinaire Vanilla Ace brings forth a huge remix with a steady beat that will resonate on clubs and radiowaves across Europe this fall.

Classic, disco imprint, SAM Records recently underwent the remix treatment for the second time with the latest installment of the ‘Extended Play’ series. Thanks to the support and efforts of NYC based main-stay, Nervous Records (which is helmed by Mike Weiss… the son of Sam Weiss…. who is the founder of SAM Records) this compilation of fresh takes on vintage jams from the SAM back catalog has already caused quite a stir.

Released earlier this week (BUY HERE), the album features this house-y rework of Gary’s Gang – ‘Do It At The Disco’ by our main man, Vanilla Ace, joined here by Dharfunkh. Dig into this fab version, I’m sure you’ll notice some of the sample work as it’s formally provided the backbone for more than one dance hit.
