Prince Club – Utopia/Olivia

After their releases on Discobelle Records, Snatch and Made To Play – Discobelle family members in Montreal duo Prince Club pay a visit to the kingdom of Denmark for their third release in year with their new “Utopia/Olivia” EP. The EP is released by our brothers across the bridge in Copenhagen based label Demento Mori.

This solid EP is packed full of bouncey house and it boasts remixes from Copenhagen locals MHM One & Dan M, accompanied by French new player Coni, Irish mad man Lorcan Mak and Hungarian powerhouse Slap In The Bass. November 22nd sees the release of Swiss producer Wildlife!’s new EP “Buckup” which is an amazing EP filled with his bassfilled take on Jamaican dance music. Don’t sleep on it, amazing tracks on here that should work their ways into plenty of dj sets. It comes with vocal contributions from legends such as: Sammy Dread, Major Mackerel and Terry Lynn. Remixes on the EP come courtesy of Night Slugs wildman L-Vis 1990, whiz Parisian producer French Fries, Berlin techno fiend Adam Port and French/Argentinian tropical cumbia hero Douster. We here at Discobelle got the Douster remix for you, which sounds like Jamaican dancehall meeting up with a cumbia shuffle on speed at a carnival.

Edu K – Ja Mann

Australian Grinders Scatterblog are working hard down in Melbourne with various club nights, radio shows etc. plus they happen to run one of our favorite blogs and on top of that they have their own label called Scatter Music. The third release on the imprint is the EP “Ja Mann” from hard working and brilliant Brazilian producer Edu K which will drop on December 22nd. The EP features remixes from a variety of producers, including up and coming Austin producer Dubbel Dutch, Swiss homie WILDLIFE!, Scatterblog affiliates Mom & Dad, Slap & Dash (who are in the process of doing a Mixin’ It Up for us here at Discobelle), Lewis CanCut etc. This remix of the b-side track “Jumpin n Pumpin” comes courtesy of our friends in Finnish tag team Femme En Fourrure who gives us this techy, tribal number which has already worked wonders for us on the floor.

This wasn’t what I expected from WILDLIFE! but after working with production for Terry Lynn’s debut album “Kingstonlogic 2.0″ and his remixes for Radioclit and Ghislain Poirier, WILDLIFE! choose to remix the French-Finnish pop duo The Dø.

Secousse (Etan remix)

The Radioclit “Secousse 2″ remix EP was just released on Mental Groove Records, it’s a mighty package that features the All Stars Vocal version + dub and remixes from juke legend Gant-Man, French wonder Brodinski, Italian/British master Riva Starr, the Swiss heroes Wildlife and Round Table Knights + Mad Decents very own Paul Devro! To celebrate the release, they’re giving away some unreleased mixes of the track. First out is this bleepy yet still with that tropical flavour version by Etan (AKA Shuttle, Ninja Tune)
