Will Eastman (of Blisspop fame) sent over his latest Blisspop mix. It features a preview of his new track “Feelin” which is coming out this summer on 12″ with a remix by Tittsworth. The track is great and you should definitely check out the mix for that track and more.

Ruby Isle – So Damn High (Will Eastman remix)

Monday, April 6th, 2009

This remix of Ruby Isle “So Damn High” is inspired by French house and keyboard melodies from Prince’s “1999″ album. Will Eastman comes from a indiepop songwriting background so when he makes a remix he tends to focus on building it around hooks and melodies. In this case, the original song was perfectly tailored for that. The lyrics are all about listening to music, dancing, getting up with your friends and getting crunk. You can’t really ask for more with a dance remix. It comes out officially in May on Kindercore records and will be available on Beatport, iTunes, etc.

“Most of the work was done at Dmerit’s studio here in DC and big shout outs to Micah Vellian and Outputmessage who jumped in on production and Jesse Tittsworth for his helpful feedback. Thanks for listening!”

Will Eastman mix for IN-DEED

Wednesday, September 3rd, 2008

Our DC buddy Gavin Holland (who does the IN-DEED radio show) passed us this mix that Will Eastman (of Blisspop fame) just did for his show and the actual programme will air tonight.

“What’s good Discobelle? This mix starts out with a bit of sassy, gets a little indie and French House, club and rave-gasm, including some of our DC dudes who are killin’ it right now: Titts, Dave Nada and Matt Nordstrom, and Dmerit. Ends with my favorite New Order song”
