Last day of 2008 and somehow we never got around to post this (along with a ton of other stuff). Here’s a track from Swedish dj duo UMYO that have consistently been providing us with quality productions, their remixes/edits are always on point but also alot of fun. Here they continue their collaboration with up and coming Swedish rappers, Lorentz & M.Sakarias with a new take on their own remix of Wiz Khalifas “Say Yeah” where they make excellent use of the Coldplay track “Viva La Vida”. Keep an eye out for them in 2009!

We got an e-mail from Philadelphyinz:

“We got together with our dude Relative Q and laid down this remix of Wiz Khalifa’s “Say Yeah,” which a lot of people know as “the song that samples “Better off Alone” by Alice Deejay.” Wiz went to our high school in our hometown of Pittsburgh, works with some of our old buddies from the day and most importantly, dude can rap his ass off. So we figured we had to show some Pittsburgh love from Philly and New York by remixing what’s become his biggest track to date.”

Great way to give a excellent track some more life.
